Known for her tender yet powerful voice and vivid lyrical depictions of love, life, struggle and hope. Emanating a deep and soulful presence. She brings vulnerability, humor, and storytelling into every performance.
Maria toured extensively with the folk-Americana project Quiles & Cloud, a duo-turned-trio praised for its lush harmonies and intricate arrangements. They earned Best Duo at FreshGrass 2014, which lead to signing with Compass Records in Nashville. After the group disbanded, Maria returned to her roots, writing, healing, and rediscovering her voice on her own terms.
Now re-emerging as a solo artist, Maria blends her rich cultural heritage with a deep commitment to authenticity. With new music on the horizon and a cross-continental journey unfolding from Peru to the East Coast of the United States she continues to offer songs as soul-medicine: intimate, raw, and alive.
